TESL Practicum Mentor

You are invited to support the Conestoga College TESL Program as we continue to drive excellence in the TESL field together.

Duties & Responsibilities:
As a mentor, your role is to support TESL students through two parts of the practicum: observations and teaching.
During the observation portion, the TESL student observes your class for 15 hours to reflect on best practices.
During the teaching portion, the TESL student teaches your students for 10 hours under your guidance.
Qualifications:
Mentors need to meet the following three requirements:
- TESL Canada or TESL Ontario certified teachers.
- Currently, teaching adult English language learners online or in person.
- Have three or more years of adult ESL teaching experience.
