Adult ESL Instructors required to work with professionals in engineering, administration and manufacturing in the Barrie, Simcoe County, Newmarket area. Instruction is in small group settings (2-5) and/or one-on-one, offered on-site at client locations.
Mandatory requirements: Undergraduate degree from an accredited Canadian University, TESL certification, minimum 5 years’ teaching experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Using Canadian Language Benchmarks (1-5) or similar, develop and customize teaching materials suited to small ESL group teaching with a strong focus on the improvement of oral and aural skills. Participate in and recommend group placement from time-to-time on an as-needs basis. Teach elements helpful in the improvement and mastery of TOEIC exams.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements: Undergraduate degree from an accredited Canadian University, TESL certification, minimum 5 years’ teaching experience. Recording of recent teaching experience is appreciated.
Short-listed candidates will be required to provide proof of accreditation, Ontario ID and references as part of the screening process.

Other information:
Candidates will require transportation as client facilities are generally not on regular public transportation routes. Teaching is primarily provided between 3:00 and 7:00 pm.
